Good idea but too fragile
This is a really good mount for phone and navigator. This works very well. Only one thing - for God's sake, do not drop! I did this and one of the vent's mounting clips broke. Inspection revealed that they were held in place by incredibly fragile plastic sticks that overlapped each other. It would be easier to make a stronger reinforcement. I can fix this by drilling a hole and using a small screw, but I don't have to!
