Review on 🔵 Mishimoto MMRT-WRX-01E Expansion Tank - Subaru WRX/STI 2001-2007 Silver by Brady Shayotovich

I give 5 stars for the quality but the fit is not perfect. The bracket interferes with the pipe clamp and I broke the pipe trying to move it. It was a bit off but fixing the broken hose added 20 minutes to the job. In addition, none of the normal hoses fit. Due to the fact that he received a larger volume than the regular tank, it is necessary to shorten all the hoses. Not too bad as tubing wears out and cutting it off can provide a better fit. The coolant overflow hose required the most modification, removing nearly 2 inches. But, hey, you were going to switch to silicone tubing anyway. The tank holds at least 50% more liquid. I drained the coolant into the bottle and had to add about 1/2 more bottle of water to top it up. Construction is very good, no burrs, hose connections are excellent, welding is fine, no spatter. The polished aluminum construction goes well with the intercooler and my CX Racing cooler.
