Review on 🔵 Mishimoto MMHOSE-SUB-ANCBL Ancillary Hose Kit - Subaru Impreza WRX/STI 2001-2005 Blue by Logan Goozmer

Love it. $90 is a great price for all of that specialty tubing, even with installation issues. The thickness of the silicone is not constant, it protrudes in places in the cross-section. But even with small silicone quality issues, they are much better than OEM rubber. There are no instructions so I have no idea what that particular hose with the one-way valve warning is for. installation problems. 1) The 90 degree elbow hose from the coolant reservoir to the head is completely the wrong diameter, the required diameter is 5/8" and I'm sure this hose is 3/8". In the installation video you can see the guy putting it on and sticking out around the nipple. It's very tight and I couldn't get it. They must have stuffed this thing in for hours before filming this 2 second clip. or they used lube and muscle. I didn't think of lube, but it shouldn't be that bad. I have a Forester XT 06 so the PCV hose on the driver's side from the head to the breather pipe doesn't fit mine. I needed a longer one. It's not Mishimoto's fault :) Luckily I was able to use this 5/8" PCV hose to replace the turbo coolant return (#2) so it wasn't compressed and used the turbo coolant hose to replace this coolant. Head angle (#1) that doesn't even fit. Also, my coolant overflow hose is longer than intended, again not Mishimoto's fault, I can't find a way to install it :)
