A quality camera is a beautiful picture. (Update: Great CS; Star added from original review)

(Original three star rating; update below) The camera looks great but I can't complete the installation - the car is all torn apart but I need to find an extension cord (cable). The kit included a fairly long cable, but it wasn't long enough to install in my Toyota Sequoia's hatch. I'm sure that will work fine, but it's a big problem when the car is taken apart and can't be driven while I wait for another cable. Salesperson. I understand that running too long for my car around the sunroof and window was a borderline case - I'm sure the cable that comes with it will do for 99 percent of installations, which is why I didn't splice the star. Therefore. After I finished installing I had an issue where the camera defaulted to showing the fallback guides (I didn't cut any wires; you usually cut the green wire to show the guides). These lines don't work for me because the camera isn't centered and they're in the wrong place. I usually give it a star or two because it doesn't work properly BUT I contacted customer service and they responded quickly and helped me troubleshoot the issue, found the camera had a manufacturing defect and then sent me a replacement. .New camera installed and working fine. I connected it to my inexpensive dual Android Auto/Carplay enabled head unit. The camera view is probably as good as I could get from a slightly blurry head unit display. I wired it up to work from both the reverse switch and the "AV" input (I put an RCA splitter on the yellow RCA cable from the camera, one going to the backup input and the other goes to the AV input). All in all, it's pretty awesome functionality for less than $20 (plus about a billion hours of DIY installation, but my car is a borderline case I've noticed). A few cons: The mounting hardware is pretty crappy. I unscrewed the head of one of the included small mounting screws by screwing it (by hand, no power tool) into the pre-drilled plastic panel. So I had to find a replacement for him. Also, the screws holding the angle adjuster have tiny lock washers, but they don't seem to hold up well - after a few days I sagged a bit in positioning. So I had to put a drop of Loctite on the screws as a safety net. This is probably a good plan to begin with. Finally, it would be nice if they included two pieces of tape/mounting pad (mine was destroyed when I had to remove the camera to fix a broken screw) as a backup in case you need to move (or fix) the camera mount. During the installation. Overall I would rate it as a solid four star camera and excellent value for money. It's nice to know that they have solid support behind the product. The next test will be how he fares in the constant rain in Seattle. I will update if there is any problem.
