This filter actually works quite well with a little modification. Many reviewers have mentioned leaking filters, but this is an easy fix. The problem is that the seal between the filter basket, filter holder and lid is leaking. To fix this I simply took a small rubber band and wrapped it around the bottom of the filter basket to increase the seal between these parts. It takes a little effort to lay the elastic flat, but it's not that difficult. The first picture shows the rubber band in the raised position, which doesn't work, while the second picture shows the correct position, lying flat on the bottom of the filter basket.
