Review on Powerful Ethernet Cable Network Patch for Industrial Electrical Systems by Brandon Kraemer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Physically well-made cables, effective anti-pinch protection, good performance, low price = good value for money

My IT support uses a lot of pre-terminated cables. These cables are perfect for my personal project of running my cable modem and other networking equipment into an electrical/electronics panel in my basement. 20 feet turned out to be the perfect length for this project. These Cat6 cables provided a reliable connection for this project. I like the 2 (black/blue) colors that help me keep the cable modem channel in a different color code than the private network color code coming from my firewall. Good visual signal. In many customer environments, the cables end up in a "rat's nest", so I concluded that this is a very well-made anti-pinch device. The strain relief is well designed for the limited space on some computers' LAN ports: the anti-pinch rubber tab can be slid aside, making it easier to squeeze the release tab in tight spots. Very good design. These are fairly flexible Cat6 cables, although they are less flexible than most CAT5e cables due to the core that separates the pairs. For my project, however, they can be easily processed in the walls and in the basement. This 2-pack 20 foot cable is well made and very affordable. Well done with thoughtful anti-hooking and not having to worry about connection drops makes that 5 stars for me.
