Review on 💡 Optimized EVERTECH 9-Channel DC12V 5 Amp PTC Fuse CCTV Power Supply with Metal Box & AC Plug - Suitable for up to 9 AHD, TVI, CVI, and Analog Security Cameras/CCTV Cameras by Paul Lewis

I had to deduct two stars for the following reasons: 1. When I opened the package, a piece of metal fell out of the box (probably scrap or scrap, approx. 2 mm in size). I don't know if there are any other random bits of metal floating around inside the device. I do NOT want short circuits and/or damage to my equipment. (minus 1)2. The unit outputs 13.41 volts (over 12V +/- 10%) on each pin (I checked with a multimeter). So I tried adjusting the trimmer; all he did was increase the tension. However, 12v cameras work fine when plugged in (so far).3. The circuit makes a slight hum/hum when I connect my cameras. I can't hear it when my ear is 2 feet away from the box because of the fan inside the DVR case.4. The hardware provided for installation does not meet the requirements. I had to buy extra screws. I have chosen not to send the power supply in to test and try. I hope you don't regret your decision. Addendum: after 1.5 weeks, the power supply is still working. All cameras are fine. I will watch closely and hope that 6 cameras do not fry.
