Review on 🧦 Kleynhuis Greek Yogurt Strainer Pouch, Fine Mesh 100 Micron Nylon (16"x9") by Davey Kamau

This is the yogurt strainer you need!

This is an amazing strainer. I've used cheesecloth, paper towels, and kitchen towels to strain homemade yogurt, but they were all annoying in their own way. I hated cleaning kitchen towels! As you can see from the photos my plastic screen was too big to roll the screen over the edge so I used a zip tie. It was just over 1 gallon of yogurt and it fit in a bag. I left it in the fridge for a couple of hours and stuck with the Greek yogurt. I'm also including a photo of the whey so you can see that it's quite clear there's no yoghurt waste at all (sometimes I've had milky white whey with cheesecloth). In the photo it is nylon, I have not tried it yet. Tried cotton but nylon is SUPER easy to clean. Let me say again that it is VERY EASY TO CLEAN. I hate cleaning and I hate when things take longer than necessary, so I appreciate the fact that this can be cleaned up in minutes. I love that this colander has made my life a little easier. As you can see, I'm not one of those people who makes yoghurt for fun and because I "want to be crunchy - I'm so horny". I do this because it's cheaper. While $14 might seem like a lot, it will save you time and hassle, so buy it. BUY IT. Oh, I've also used it to strain ghee (clarified butter). It also works well for straining vanilla extract (which I do in liter jugs). So many uses. Thank you!
