I had this in my garage, but I had to move it to the entry way, because it's so lovely. I use the compartments on top to separate our mail. I hang keys and bags from the hooks, and I keep our shoes at the bottom. It's a lovely setup, and one that is also very functional. The bench is strong enough so we can sit on it while we put on and remove our shoes. And the entire apparatus takes care of every single item that usually gets improperly placed on the way in: keys, shoes, bags, and coats. The whole thing wasn't too difficult to setup, and I can see it lasting a long time.
