Review on 🔒 Moogiitools Locking Swivel Rubber Caster by Scott Tompkins

Our cot has a bad castor set and needs to be replaced. This replacement set is great, but we had to be creative with how to use it. First, this kit is much larger than the standard low profile kit that comes with the reel kit due to the locking mechanism as well as the larger frame to accommodate the double ball bearing. The cons are: 1) Due to the limited size of our lower bogie frame, we couldn't utilize the 360 wheel rotation, only about 30% rotation, but that's enough for our roll-in needs. 2) This wheelset is really quiet and well made. The locking mechanism is amazing as our wooden floor is uneven due to our old foundation so this wheel locking mechanism keeps the pull out bed from sliding. 3) The height of this set is about 1/2 inch higher than the standard roller wheels, so there is barely enough room on the roller mattress to fold the frame on rollers. And we needed a wheel lock mechanism because our standard swivel caster kit has no wheel lock option. If you want to use this kit for your pull out bed, you'd better have an extra drill bit to drill another set of holes to install this set casters. Also There are no screws included in the kit so you will need to order a set of large screws as the screws for a standard pull out bed are too small for this castor set. If you have the right tools and screws then this castor set is a good replacement for your extra bed, especially if your home has a bad foundation like ours.
