Review on Arlington CP3540 1C Ceiling Cover Paintable by Carlos Reyes

This item was chosen for aesthetic reasons only - I never thought mounting a panel to a ceiling would be a problem. The blanks don't nestle against the ceiling due to the design of the plastic strip, the screws, and the way it all connects to the box that's already there. I called Arlington Industries and they admitted that true flush mounting was NOT to be expected. The staff didn't even offer alternative mounting options or anything to mitigate the problem. He said you'll just "have to live with it". I'm surfing the internet to find some genius somewhere who has a solution. Moral of the story: looks aren't everything!
