They work very well. I have them on my rear bumper and got hit pretty hard at 10-15mph? There was a loud bang that only left a mark on one of those panels and a small scratch on the bumper that that panel didn't have. I'm pretty sure without them I would have had a damaged bumper. You should use painters tape or something similar to line up the position where you want to attach them. It will look great if you take the time to line them up. After thoroughly cleaning the surface, press the pads onto the previously marked spots and hold the pressure for a minute or two. Worth it. Then it doesn't fall off. Mine has been stuck for 4 years now and has been through snow, rain and car washes. It is part of the bumper and looks stock.
