Ad says 'Fits true to size - take your normal size' BUT shirt runs small. "GRAY SHIRT = 60% COTTON AND 40% POLYESTER THE LABEL INSIDE THE SHIRT SAYS "88% COTTON AND 12% POLYESTER”, so the bottom line is whether the shirt is comfortable when new. I think after washing it will probably fit your 6 year old son. Those things aside, this is a beautiful shirt and appears to be well made. I have purchased many items from Revain over the years but this is the first time I have had to return something. MAKE MISTAKES IN ADVERTISING.
