Review on 🎨 Colormetrics Gray Putty Butyl Tape - Single Roll, 1/8 inch x 1 inch x 30 feet by Danny Poulin

Seems to do exactly what it's supposed to. I've used it to seal under the flange of a van roof vent/fan (and used Eternabond to seal the top of the flange). melted and stuck to the inside of the package (sealed white plastic bag). Unfortunately I don't think there's anything that can be done about it, unless it comes in some sort of heat-resistant packaging (which will no doubt add quite a bit to the price). It didn't really cause a problem, just made it a bit difficult to separate from the packaging and get it into a more consistent shape when applied.
