Good fit but wish they were a little bigger or had that option for breeds with longer pads/feet. It takes some getting used to learning how tight to adjust the velcro straps so they stay in place but not get too tight. If your Fog isn't used to boots they are great, but you should start with short walks/short wear times and break them in before using them for long walks or hikes. I bought these for my pup for trips to the beach to avoid having sand spurs and glass or other beach items washed out with water or left unattended. We wore them at home a few times before the trip and got used to them and she looks like a show pony the first time she puts them on because she thinks they're funny (she does tend to prance a bit because she is a golden Astrakhan and has long legs). They've worked fantastic for us and we'll definitely be using them for hikes and future trips to the beach, as well as really hot days on the sidewalk. The soles are strong enough to tackle rough terrain without putting too much pressure on your dog's paws once he gets used to them. And once you get the hang of the velcro straps, they'll be tight enough to stay in place, despite the occasional attempt to come loose, without hurting your dog. Again my dog has long legs and long pads/paws and I would have preferred slightly longer/higher boots but they still work very well. And I throw them in the washing machine along with towels etc (I put them in a laundry/delicates bag so the velcro doesn't stick to other things) and then let them dry.
