Brilliant idea! Our backyard gets pretty messy and it gets annoying to rinse or wipe dogs paws, so we tried these little boots and they are awesome! Our German Shepherd was unsure of them and walked as if to throw them off, but got used to them and even forgot they were on. In summer, on hot pavement, it will be great too. Thanks very much!

Ordered several boots to compare. The design of these boots is not as good as other models. Each boot has a single elastic bandage. They are easier on dog paws but will not hold boots. The boots kept slipping off whenever the dog did anything more intense than just walking. I recommend double velcro boots - one reflective and the other regular. you better stay

These boots work, but the elastic strap is HUGE! We have to wrap it around our dog's leg three times before attaching it with Velcro. Just wrap it up so the velcro is visible. Once we walked around, they fell over immediately. They twisted a few times while walking and the bottom fits on top, but when you tighten the elastic it rarely happens. They work great in snow, even deep snow. We have a goldendoodle, the snow sticks to it like crazy, I'd like a taller boot!

Prior to her ordering, my toddler could be outside for more than five minutes. Too bad he loves snow. Once he had them, getting used to wearing them wasn't easy. Good fit but wish they were a little bigger or had that option for breeds with longer pads/feet. It takes some getting used to learning how tight to adjust the velcro straps so they stay in place but not get too tight. If your Fog isn't used to boots they are great, but you should start with short walks/short wear times and break them in before using them for long walks or hikes.
