To be honest it works great and is easy to install. There is a video online showing how to remove the inner plastic to access the pacifier slot where it belongs. You really only need 6mm and 8mm sockets. You will also need FORSCAN, a program used by Ford enthusiasts that allows you to enable brake control in your truck's computer dashboard cluster module. Took me about an hour to get it installed and working. The tested control unit accompanied my first tow tractor of our mobile home last weekend.
