I guess I'm pretty picky when it comes to watches. I've been buying cheap pocket watches for about 50 years and some of them last and some don't. I started with an old mechanical Bullseye watch for about $2-3 each and worked my way up to $10-15 for a new battery powered watch that is hitting the market today. Either I wet them, or they rub against something, or something else happens, or they just don't last very long. I bet I've gone 20-25 but this is the first that has a crystal jump right out of the gutter. I don't know how this happened: it was well packaged and otherwise in excellent condition. But the crystal broke through. I thought about bringing it back but with my hour record figured I might as well stick with it until it fails. With any luck, this one might outlive them all. But if you want the perfect watch at a reasonable price, you can try elsewhere. I received an unsolicited response from the seller expressing regret for the damaged item and offering to send another one, which he did. Today I received another watch in perfect condition. In my book, this experience represents the type of salesperson that everyone desires. Great online shopping experience!
