Review on πŸ–€ Teva Hurricane Verge Black Men's Shoes - Size 10 by Jesse Francilme

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Mostly good, not wide-legged, back strap sits low.

I have a couple of 20 year old Teva pairs that are long overdue to send to Tevalhalla. They sold for $31 plus $8 shipping, so only about $40 for new Tevas. You're worth it. Four stars, they are good but not great. The bed is slightly different and a bit firmer than the previous one, although all Teves have a small break-in period. The only real downside is that it is NOT suitable for wide feet. If you have a wide foot keep moving, even find another pair of Tevas or Keens. (They were cheap so I didn't buy 125 Keens or 100 Tevas.) Also, this may or may not be an issue, the back of the ankle strap sits a lot lower than the old Tevas or whatever. sandals I've ever had. It's not low enough to prevent them from sliding down but makes it very easy to push them off at the end of the day by pushing them down with my big toe. This might be a problem for you, if so then don't even try to get it working because you will hate it. I thought it might bother me, but it doesn't at all. Also, they're not as regulated as you might think. If you need to adjust them, then your foot is too wide for these shoes and you should buy shoes from another manufacturer. If your feet are too small and you adjust them down, the straps will sag and be uncomfortable. Unlike other Tevas, you should simply go back and go down a size. Otherwise the quality is normal Teva quality and comfort. Again, if you have wide feet don't even consider them, don't order a size up, they will still be snug for you. not exactly a problem straps on a low heel. I would send them back if it wasn't for the color. I ordered blue because I'm turning into an old man and for some reason now is the time everything has to be a certain color, not when I was in my terrible twos. Do not ask me. But now everything should be blue. So at least I have blue shoes.

Pros

Cons
  • Sandals may not be very durable and can wear out after just a few months of use.
