The name speaks for itself. My old flame detector tested open circuit with a multimeter so I bought this kit thinking I had some spares. Fitting it into the KitchenAid KGYE870BWH1 was easy, the small panel on the underside is all you need to remove to do this as long as you have the right tool for the small screw that holds the flame sensor to the burner tube. The replacement is complete, after a week the dryer did not shine. This time the flame monitor was NOT open but the igniter stayed on with no gas for a few minutes. So I took another random flame sensor, plugged it in and it worked fine. Shame on Revain for letting such low quality crap into their system. What a waste of my time and effort. Poor quality manure is a real drain on the economy.
