This is an unusual capstan winch puller that is a cordless design with a 48V 2.0Ah Li-Ion battery pack. As it is not attached to anything it needs to be securely attached to an object using the supplied sling for the 2 red steel hooks on the back of the capstan winch. This requirement is best met when using a log where the line is NOT wrapped in multiple turns as the winch must rotate to take the load.
