Autogen 5 am 12v charger is a great charger; but with a twist! It was hooked up by a dyslexic electrical engineer! With this charger, the red wire is negative and the black wire is positive, so as long as you're not sleepwalking and drinking your morning coffee, it's not a problem. If this bothers you then a little work with wire cutters, solder, soldering iron and heat shrink tubing can easily fix it. What I like is that it can handle not only lead-acid but also lithium and LIP04 cells, which is great at this price point.
