Review on Sony Alpha 16 55Mm Standard APS C by Jyothish Pillai

I chose this lens because I needed a fast universal zoom that was sharp on my Sony APS-C camera. I have had a 16-50 3.5-5.6 kit lens since I bought the a6300 2 years ago and have not been happy with its performance in photography. This lens is way better than the kit lens I replaced it with. I even compared this 30mm G lens to the Sigma 30mm 1.4 lens and concluded that they are similar enough in sharpness that I couldn't tell the difference. I used the lens to shoot basketball and wrestling at my local high school and also photographed the players in action (see attached photos). The autofocus worked surprisingly well. It's much faster than any of my lenses. The lens performs amazingly in every scenario I use it. He made my camera experience so much better. It comes at a high price, but it's exactly what you need to get the experience it offers. If anyone can make this lens stand out and be happy with what the APS-C sensor offers them, I say with great confidence, go for it!
