Looks great but DIFFICULT to wash/install!

I love the feel and look of this fabric and it's perfect for our guest bed with risers for more storage underneath. BUT with all that velcro, washing is a nightmare! This bed skirt comes with NO INSTRUCTIONS so you need to find out. I spent over an hour laying it out on my bed before washing to make sure it fit. The skirt consists of three parts, 2 long and 1 short. I assumed the short one was for the end of the bed but that didn't work. I ended up placing the gap in the middle of the blind side of the bed. I still don't know if I got the corners right. I ended up collecting them and working with them for a while to get the splits right. I removed the bottom and skirt pieces, washed them on the gentle cycle and tumble dried low. It took forever to get it out of the washer and dryer because all the fabric was twisted and connected with velcro! Worse still, the Velcro stuck to the bottom hem seams and despite careful attempts to separate them, some of the seams tore. The Velcro also created tension throughout the base sheet. After about two hours I was able to adjust the skirt and conceal the torn seams. It looks great but I'm sure if I wash it again it won't survive this routine without stitching to restore it. I had no intention of deleting it and trying to get it back after wasting so much time but for the price paid it was very disappointing. After detangling the skirt after washing, I tried folding the skirt like an accordion, velcro to velcro to dry it. Helped a little, but not much.
