Great beginner shoes for the occasional snow warrior

We might only use these a few times each year but they appear like a great option for hiking through deep snow on the mountain. It comes in a case that holds the shoes, poles, and tips together. The ratchet straps for the boots seem functional (like snowboard bindings) but I wonder how they'll hold up to repeated use if these were used regularly. For occasional use, I'm sure they'll be fine. But if you're looking for something that's going to be used daily or multiple times per week for the whole season, there's a chance the bindings might be the first thing to go over time.I don't think it's fair to compare the case and shoes to sets costing hundreds of dollars more as they're not really in the same class. But for light use the time or two a year we would want to use them, I think these are a good choice at this price point. It will get you in the door and give you some experience to see if you like trudging through the snow or not.And I don't see any reason the trekking poles couldn't be used throughout the year for regular hiking even if the shoes aren't being utilized. There are different tips provided that just screw on and off so you could adjust them as needed for the conditions (ice, snow, dirt, etc).
