Review on 🌞 Single Arm Pole-Wall Mounting Brackets for Solar Panels, Supporting 5W to 50W by Chris Long

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, very good construction, simple and easy to assemble design.

Update: The seller has increased the price of this machine by almost $10, which greatly reduces the overall cost. As far as I know the quality is still high. But there are plenty of competitors in the new price range, and some cheaper devices might be more attractive now. Initial rating: Very impressed. Good price, simple solid construction, quality materials and finish. This little plate mount is much stronger and more secure than I expected. Very easy to assemble and install. Mine currently supports a 25W monocrystalline panel and is doing a great job. I also tested the 20W mono panel and it popped up just as easily. I think as you get much taller you might end up aligning the panel horizontally so the narrower panel alignment still wraps around the main arm of this mount, but there's nothing wrong with that. If I have one complaint, it's that while the tube rings are made of high quality stainless steel, they are designed for a metric or flathead screwdriver. That's a pretty picky complaint - metric hex drivers just aren't in my usual toolbox, and tightening a yoke with a screwdriver is a frustrating experience. In any case, you can use any hose/pipe clamps, although stainless steel would certainly make more sense.
