Some of the reviews mention the on/off feature works well. It doesn't work on the Galaxy Tab A8. I did look at the description again and the seller must have cut-and-pasted from the iPad description. It says .conserves the iPad battery. I can't blame that on the case as the Galaxy must not have the feature. But the description should be correct.It does fit the Galaxy Tab A8 well. All the cut-outs match the buttons/speakers/mic/power on the tablet. The case feels nice and looks like it will last. I am not overly fond of how the tablet is secured. It kind of snaps into the opening like most smart phone cases. If you take it in and out a lot like I do, this may not last. The one I had for my old tablet was secured on three sides and the tablet slid in on the 4th side and a flap came around that side and secured behind the tablet with Velcro. Time will tell if this stays secure and lasts. The Keyboard is a nice touch and worked well. The magnet on the case flap secures the keyboard from sliding around. The back of the keyboard is metal. This makes the keyboard more usable.
