Not ideal for painting

I rate this as real painting material not crafting. The drop cloth is thin and light. It doesn't have the heaviness that many linen placemats have. The plastic lining on the back is very thin and not very protective. The worst thing about this fabric is that it is almost fuzzy and the fibers will stick to any item to be dyed, leaving annoying fibers in the finished product. I could see how it can be perfect for crafts but spend more for a much higher quality if you use it for painting products.
