Don't buy two of these remote controlled fans for a house

We recently installed the second same fan in MB (back house). The 1st fan was installed in the GR (in front of the house). Big problem as the remotes seem to be interchangeable! Using the remote control for the MB fan interacts with the fan in the GR. Turning on a fan light in a room will turn off another fan light or change the fan speed!
