I ordered these for a great regular price, 10 gallons with a wire mesh lid and these patches don't go all the way to the top because they are small. I was in awe of them until I tried them and they just couldn't work. They appear to be made for a specific tank and cap but this is not stated.

Although they are more expensive than branded terrarium lid clamps, I was curious to see if this style would work with my homemade acrylic lid which fits snugly in the black grooved glass tank. I had to use this clip upside down so part of the clip would stick to the bottom of the rim of my tank and the glue would stick to the top of the acrylic lid.
