Update: After another call to customer service, this rep said that they would cover replacing the line and spigot that had the mold inside it under warranty. I just had to pay the $8 shipping. I thought this was a very reasonable solution, so I'm happy with how they (eventually) handled it.My lesson learned going forward is going to be to try to clean the inside of the faucet every month or so.Original review:There is good and bad about this filter.The good:Water tasted good until it got moldyI needed a longer plastic tube for my installation and they sent me one for freeThe bad:Despite following the instructions, the faucet grew a thick layer of slime inside it within 3 monthsWhen I contacted customer service, they said they knew about the issue and recommended using a q-tip with alcohol to wipe the tip of the faucet, but couldn't suggest a way to get the slime cleaned out of the inside. They clearly know this is a problem, but still sell the faucet and don't have a solution. Now I'm stuck with a useless $80 water filter that doesn't produce water that is safe to drink.
