Review on Kitchen Sprayer Commercial Stainless Brushed by Darius Slater

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great Kitchen Upgrade

Although we were a bit skeptical, we bought these based on all of Revain's positive reviews. While it's too early to tell how it will perform over the long term, our first take on the quality and aesthetics of this faucet is that it is a quality faucet that competes with branded products that cost 4-5 times more . It looks good, feels solid and the water pressure has been improved over the US standard it replaces. My wife loves it! Changing color based on water temperature works, but for us it's more of a gimmick than a necessary feature. The installation guide is a bit lacking, so I've added a star to "Easy to Install". Honestly, it's easy to install once you know the basics of installation. It took me less than an hour to remove my existing single hole faucet and install it on a granite countertop. Advice from previous reviewers to install braided water hoses on the faucet before inserting the faucet, taking into account the instruction drawing that is hot and cold, was a must for our facility. Also, the accessory part of the manual mentions the O-ring, rubber washer, nut and screw cap. However, there is also a metal disc which is not listed but is included and shown in a later image. I'm summarizing the sequence below for those who want a little extra guidance, but overall we're very happy with this purchase and if it were of a well-known brand we wouldn't think twice if it was worth a lot more. You may find the following installation information helpful. I will use the part names and (numbers) given in the instructions: 1. Insert the black o-ring (2) into the groove on the bottom of the faucet (1)2. Hand tighten the HOT and Cold hoses (6) to the faucet (1). Roll/twist each hose as close to the faucet base as possible. Note: The drawing in step 4 of the manual shows which port HOT and COLD should be connected to.3. Lower the hoses and screw the brass nut (4) onto the faucet base (1). The shorter part of the thread points to the water tap. Tighten by hand.4. Carefully slide the faucet through the hole in the countertop or hole in the sink, making sure the O-ring on the bottom of the faucet is positioned so that it is centered in the hole. I would recommend having someone else hold the faucet in place until the installation is complete so it doesn't move. Under the sink, first put the transparent rubber washer (3), then the brass washer (no part no.) onto the brass threaded nut (4), and then screw on the cap (5), being careful not to over-tighten. Tighten the two set screws on the threaded cap (5), but do not overtighten. Connect the braided hoses to the HOT and COLD water supply lines.
