My Lenovo z51 laptop was so unstable that I was willing to replace it. He is 5 years old but it seemed wrong to me that he is acting so strange. I took it apart several times to clean it. I've noticed that the pressure is in certain areas and it will work better for a short time. He switched off. Does not start. It opens but freezes. Even the sound sucked. I watched several videos on Youtube. Asked questions on a few boards. There was a lot of conflicting information. I noticed a few videos that mentioned changing the thermal paste. It's been a few months now and I haven't had any problems since. It's such a simple step that has given me wonderful results. No more worries about replacing my laptop.
