Works but does not replace bit

Most hobbyists use drill bits on power drills to cut clean holes but I don't have a drill bit. I have a cordless Dremel 800. I was looking for a way to cut clean 2" holes without using a hole saw and to add versatility to my tool, so I ordered this cutting guide. My tool fits in well and the depth can be adjusted, but the guide design is a serious limitation. As long as there was enough clearance to rotate the tool around the axis of the guide, the holes were clean with some burrs. I tested it on the hard lid of the bag. There was enough room in the center of the lid to rotate the tool and the holes came out evenly. But as I got closer to the edge of the lid, the tool couldn't rotate a full 360 and I had to lift and move it to fully drill the hole. These holes weren't that even. Finally, there was no room for the guide in the area closest to the edge, so I cut the hole without a bit, resulting in the cuts not being as round as when cut. If you need to cut flat parts and there is enough room for a guide the attachment will work as advertised and to my knowledge Dremel does not make drill bits for their cordless tools so this guide may be the only option for Dremel users to carve holes.
