I bought two of these. The photos show a cool curtain of really scattered bubbles. I have a 4W Whisper 60 air pump that I have been using for years to create bubbles through three stones at once (4" ring stone + 6" ring stone + small air stone). I just wanted to replace these stones because they look ugly. I hooked up one of those new air diffuser sticks but was only able to get a small amount of air through it. When I connected them together (via a regulator) I couldn't get air through either. I checked the o-rings and diaphragm on the pump (thought they might have cracked so not enough air was getting through) but the pump/o-rings/diaphragm is fine. I don't know why these airstones are not working in my setup. Maybe they need a much more powerful pump. That's why I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 star. They might work if they have enough power, but I figured a 4 watt pump would be enough to power two rocks. But that's not the case. I'll stick with regular air stones.
