I advise those who want experiments with overclocking and plus silence and who have a fairly large case. Different pros: Previously, there was a Zalman CNPS 5X Performa. When idle, it was 45 degrees on the processor, and when LinX-0.6.5 warmed up, it was up to 65-70. The fan howled like an airplane turbine. Replaced with Thermalright Macho Rev. B. Now, not only does it cool perfectly, but also almost complete silence, you can only hear the work of the winchster. With a simple percentage (i7-4790 3500MHz) heats only 30-32 degrees, while the fan is spinning 320-350 rpm. When warmed up by the program, LinX-0.6.5 could only heat up to 52-57 degrees, the speed did not rise above 500, while the fan was not audible at all. Got cons: Check the dimensions of the internal space of the case in advance. I have a radiator right next to the rear grill of the case. And the fan is literally a couple of millimeters from the memory slats.
