Radiator frame crushed, fins damaged, packaging box looks ok

I am sure this is a very good all in one liquid cooler but be very concerned who you buy it from. The Arctic II 280 is in high demand and sold out at many retailers. My guess is that this Revain dealer sent me a unit that may have been damaged or fallen into their warehouse because the outer shipping box looked fine, while on closer inspection the retail box was damaged in the same area as the heatsink. If I send it back for a refund they can repackage it and ship it to you! Excellent. was looking forward to using the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 in a new computer. When I took it out of the factory retail box tonight, the radiator frame 3" from the end with hose mounts was crushed about 3/8" deep and 2.5" wide, damaging the fins and frame. This is no minor cosmetic damage - the heatsink will likely not hold up tight over time and could leak in my build. There were no clues outside of the shipping container, so I didn't have to worry until I removed the heatsink a couple of weeks later and saw no crushed damage to the frame and fins. As you can see from my photos something with a lot of force hit the radiator frame in one spot which also caused creases on the flimsy retail packaging which DOES NOT have side protection for the radiator. There was nothing in my order but the radiator which is why I suspect the retailer shipped the unit without inspecting it or unfortunately knew it could fall and hit the edge of the pallet rack and I didn't care which made it my problem now. communicate what the retailer or manufacturer has to say. Radiators and their fins in a metal case are quite fragile. Manufacturer: Arctic protected the CPU heat exchanger pump assembly fairly well in the retail box, but the heatsink frame and fins had only the thinnest layer of cheap single-ply cardboard for shipping protection, which is woefully inadequate. Maybe they think. Well, it's metal that can happen. Hello is a maze of ultra-thin metal fins, a million tiny water-filled tubes and a soft metal frame. A lot can happen which is bad for customers like us if they don't protect it properly during transportation.
