Description of 🌬️ ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 280 - High-performance All-in-One CPU AIO Water Cooler, Intel & AMD Compatible, PWM Controlled Pump, Fan Speed: 200-1700 RPM - Black

COOLER THAN OTHER AIO WATER COOLERS: The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II has a more efficient cool plate, pump and radiator that makes a difference among other AIO water pc fan coolers. 15°C LOWER VOLTAGE REGULATOR TEMPERATURE: An additional 40 mm VRM fan (PWM controlled) next to pump can provide extra cooling for the base and voltage transformer. INTEGRATED CABLE MANAGEMENT: The PWM-cable of the fans are integrated into the sleeved tubing; Thus there is only one short cable visible from the pump to motherboard replacing the usual cable mess. 80% LESS POWER CONSUMPTION: Unlike most pumps from our competitors, which run at full load even when idle, our pump clocks down consuming less power and producing less noise If no cooling is needed. MAINTENANCE-FREE WATER LOOP: The water loop is sealed and with high quality fiber-reinforce EPDM tubing you do not have to worry about refilling. EXTENDED WARRANTY: We now offer a 6-year warranty from the date of purchase on all Liquid Freezer II series coolers; The warranty extension also applies retroactively to previously purchased coolers.

Once you figure out how to mount it, it seems to work pretty well.

This cooler is not compatible with MSI AM4 motherboards by default. The back panel feet supplied by MSI are too big and therefore this cooler cannot be installed. The Arctic does not include the correct size backplate. Other motherboards may not find this result, but if you have an MSI and want to keep it, I guess look elsewhere. UPDATE: I was able to contact Arctic Support. As it turned out, the mount is constructive. I took her word for it and finished the install and lo and behold it was…

I've heard a lot about this, but when I followed the instructions to install the AM4 mount, I realized I didn't have any screws for it. There is a disclaimer on the rev3 support page that this could be a problem and a form needs to be filled out. Which I did but I'm still waiting to know when I'll get them. The socket bracket upgrade does not fit the motherboard. asus tufgaming x570-pro (wifi 6). I'm waiting to get the REV2 mount to see if it fits. Still no word on Artic.Update 2. I called them

Exceeded expectations!

I was having issues with CPU overheating so I recently repotted the case as the old case was choking my old AIO. Even when I increased the airflow the old Corsair AIO still had trouble keeping my OCd 8700k 4.7Ghz under 85 when playing the new flight sim, I even jumped to 100 which wasn't ok. I threw this AIO into a new case in a push-pull configuration (you need to find 8 extra screws somewhere to loosen this) and I'm amazed. I've never seen such a low CPU temp in my system and now my max temp…

Great cooler specially for Ryzen 3900x

Ryzen 3900x gets hot compared to the old Intel chips I'm used to. etc.) This air cooler provides idle temperatures of 38-43 C. Desktop will run up to 50 C. Gaming 60-70+ C. I always want my components to be as cold as possible to ensure long life and tinkering with overclocking is a hobby when I have time. So I read some reviews, looked at the prices, and remembered my not-so-great experience with the Corsair H100 a few years ago. This Arctic 280 (radiator mounted on top of a Corsair 540…

What a crap!

If you look at the video on the internet, it shows version 1. It has long screws that are easy to fasten. for some reason they were removed in revision 3. The revision 3 instructions say they sent the wrong screws. So you need to find out from your motherboard kit which screw to put in. Also, this type of screw will never be long enough for most motherboard applications. Although Liquid was too lazy to change the instruction pictures to show the correct screws as they look. Any of their images…

Great AIO cooler. Update - even better than I thought

Installed today and after some testing I have to say this is a fantastic AIO cooler. I switched from CoolerMaster 360mm. It was loud under load. However, it is quiet. I mean REALLY calm. You can't hear it at idle. No pump noise. There are no fans. Nothing. And the small VRM fan is also silent. You can barely hear it while playing since you're sitting 2 feet away from me. This is absolutely the quietest AIO I've ever used. In terms of cooling, I fell by 6-8 degrees while gaming. CoolerMaster 360

Radiator frame crushed, fins damaged, packaging box looks ok

I am sure this is a very good all in one liquid cooler but be very concerned who you buy it from. The Arctic II 280 is in high demand and sold out at many retailers. My guess is that this Revain dealer sent me a unit that may have been damaged or fallen into their warehouse because the outer shipping box looked fine, while on closer inspection the retail box was damaged in the same area as the heatsink. If I send it back for a refund they can repackage it and ship it to you! Excellent. was…

One Miracle: Computers and Accessories

-------------------- TL/DR: --------- -- -- -- ------------ The CPU temperature drops by 20+C during the game! Mid-teens crash while idling. Exceptional performance with near-silent fans at 100% speed (chassis on the ground 3ft). At 100%, the fans would not be audible if there were other sounds in the room at a reasonable level. It's the gentle sound of rushing air (btw I use 3 filters on the inlet and 1 on the outlet). By the way, it would be nice, albeit quietly, to sleep with white noise. My

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

Why 5 stars considering the flaws. Well, how can I say, I bought it myself, a fool, I knew about all these possible problems and took it, because dropsy is top. If you take it into a normal building and study the issue, then here they will be 5 stars. Further details: Be careful with the heatsinks around the processor, since the pump itself, which is installed on the processor, is very massive. Make sure that the installation space is at least 32 cm, it turns out that the radiator is not 280…

Pros
  • Cools better than top air D14 and D15 Looks great even without lights
Cons
  • All the same, this is dropsy 280, but it causes a lot of problems with installation on more than half of the cases for which 280 is the norm. I personally had a problem with the motherboard, as the heatsink on the SSD m2 interfered. I had to remove the radiator and buy another one. The hoses, for small cases, are too long and tight, when I closed and tried to move the hoses, I was afraid to break them.
