I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

The lens was purchased in 2022 in Hong Kong from wing sing photo supplies in Mongkok. The price tag was HK$7480, but I ended up getting it for HK$5900. I still didn’t understand what it was - the absence of a tax like a non-resident, or just the seller wanted to show that he was so kind and generous. The Chinese . As for the glass itself, I have long wanted a macro, money appeared and I was in a place where prices are much tastier than 2022 retail and I am happy like an elephant. Despite the fact that this is a macro, I use it quite often for portraits. Click on 0.5m - infinite. and the focusing process is instantaneous. The stabilizer helps out a lot, especially when shooting macro in nature. I have a 6D, its focusing system is far from the most outstanding and it turns out a lot of marriage because of its slowness. But the portrait shoots well, whatever you say. Sharp already from 2.8 - the first time I meet this. When shooting at short shutter speeds, the stub can have the opposite effect and it is better to turn it off.

Pros

+ Razor sharp. Very good sharpness already from 2.8. + Stabilizer. The result of the work is impressive - from the hands and at 1/15 it turns out fine (not macro) + Focus distance limiter speeds up the process + Dust and moisture protection +Heavy hit + No moving trunks - when focusing, the dimensions of the lens do not change and the front element does not rotate.

Cons

-Stabilizer. Yes, it works great at slow shutter speeds, but it introduces blur at short shutter speeds (1/250 and shorter), when there is no longer a need for it, but they forgot to turn it off. - Canon's standard soft case (I have three L's and they all have identical cases) is not a very practical thing. For that kind of money, they could make a semi-rigid one, not a plug, after all, on a bayonet. -The lens hood is very long and, when turned upside down in the stowed position, almost completely covers the focus ring.
