Review on πŸ“€ Sony VRDMC6 DVDirect Compact Size DVD Burner: AVCHD Recording (Discontinued) by Evan Sharma

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good deal then! (REC in Texas)

Love it it's what we all needed for years, too bad they didn't make it or have the technology back then. :) I collected all my old VHS tapes and started recording without reading much on how to do it. It's pretty basic, but I like "toys" so it's easier when you're used to "toys". I've done about half of my tapes, I like to stand by and watch what's being recorded (not that you have to) so it takes me a little longer. After the initial setup, just insert a blank DVD and press a few buttons, no need to worry, but I'm sure there are people who are afraid of such things, like my mother-in-law, she has a hard time with the satellite remote control for their television. My only REAL complaint would be that it doesn't write videos to them from my SD cards, but does slideshows with the SD cards, but I don't care about that, although I'm sure others will. Also, it does a lot, and I wish Sony wasn't so obsessed with their proprietary ways they could open this thing up to accept "things" from other cameras and gadgets, but they don't. The workmanship is good, the viewfinder is sufficiently bright, and the resolution is also very good. It's worth the money, but a few things could be changed. to make it even better, but I'm sure that will seep in as new models come out, be it a Sony brand or a fake. I really like it although it's not perfect and the SD card is the reason I didn't give it 5 stars.
