I like to use a 30 spf when I plan on being in sun for numerous hours but often sunscreens will give me a zit or two by the end of day. It's a compromise I generally suffer through. I put this Hemps on my face at 715 am then sat outside on bleachers from 815 in partial sun until 130 pm. It kept me protected enough to not get any redness at all while my daughter is a little pink now not wearing anything on her face. I do not have any breakouts 12 hrs later. It seems a little shiny on face at first but maybe I used too much. the scent was a little strong for the first hr I was driving in car in the morning but I didn't notice it once I got outside . I bought the travel 2 oz to try and so far I like it.
