[UPDATE 12/10/2012] I swear it was more about being quiet which was one of the main reasons for my choice. Now he just says it once and they don't have to worry about the spell checker. But after using it I wanted to say that it is NOT silent. It's not as bad as something like those plastic protectors, but then again, there's some noise. I don't think it will bother us, but we'll see. I know there are a lot of people who will get this one because it needs to be quiet, so I wanted to contribute. Less than one star. [/UPDATE] If you have kids, babies, cats, dogs or are a sloppy person yourself, you should definitely get this mattress topper. The terry cloth prevents the sheets from slipping and the impregnation underneath works very well. It fitted our mattress well even after we tucked the 3 inch gel topper on. It doesn't retain heat and is honestly one of the best we've found. Since it will be under our sheets I didn't worry too much about the color or its appearance as long as it worked to keep the mattress dry. as we have grandkids who aren't really careful with their drinks lol. All in all I can't find anything wrong so far although we just got it. So if anything changes I'll update, but for now I'm giving it 5 stars.
