I bought these to replace a set I just bought but can't find them. The price makes it affordable, but to be honest, getting a replacement kit is never a piece of cake. Every knitter has reached a point in their work where three rounds before knotting is the double point they need is MIA. The ability to knit socks, sleeves or mittens at the same time is also a good reason to have a spare set. The first picture shows how they were packaged. The second shows both peak protection sizes. The third photo is an attempt to show size markings. I don't have size needles on hand to check the correct size, but each person's knitting tension is different, and maybe the weight of the item, a person can expect different tension at different times. The answer is, use the right size needles to get the right gauge. They come in sets of 5 and range in size from 2mm (US 0) to 6mm (US 10) in a range of graduated sizes, but then progress to 8mm, 9mm and 10mm. #6.5mm (equivalent to US K hook).
