It's useless! You tear thread!

Due to the price and my previous positive experience with carbonized bamboo needles, I ordered a second set of these needles the same day I received the first set. However, after actually using them, I am very disappointed with the poor quality. Tapered ends are unsealed and rough. They get caught in the yarn while knitting, making them completely useless. If the tapered sections were lined with clear sealant to line them up with the middle sections (which were sealed) they could be used, but…

Good value for money; Knitting beginners lack functional skills, but these are the basic colons

I bought these to replace a set I just bought but can't find them. The price makes it affordable, but to be honest, getting a replacement kit is never a piece of cake. Every knitter has reached a point in their work where three rounds before knotting is the double point they need is MIA. Not the best quality but for a low price I can order more

I probably already have the third set. I will donate the thicker (starting at $5) and more durable extra supplies I have to LYS, who then donate knit supplies to shelters and prisons. ongoing projects as smaller needles are easily deformed and/or broken over time. This winter I was knitting a very tight Christmas ornament and THREE 2.0mm needles broke. I also have a bun that has warped from tight knitting - I can try soaking it to smooth it out.
