If you have an optical tach this will be very helpful when using it. Attach a small square to whatever you want to read to bounce the beam back and get a reading. The adhesive is flexible enough for most applications and strong enough to temporarily hold it in place for reading. If you bend them during storage, the backing will separate from the tape. So try to keep them horizontal for best results. 4 stars because they work, but you have to be careful when storing/handling them so the backing doesn't come off.
