I like these things. I haven't painted without her for many years. The trick is definitely to lift the wheels/guard up when pouring the paint and just pour the paint with a brush. When I load the paint I stop about 1/4 inch from the edge so as not to get too much paint on the edge and cause bleeding. I also keep a paper towel handy and stop often to wipe down the fairing and wheels to make sure the paint doesn't ruin the finish. This is much quicker than edging with a brush or tape. I can paint an accent wall in under an hour with this tool.
