I use them to clean records

If you want to use them for painting, I really don't like the way they paint. Striped. Not my favourite. But: I don't use them for drawing. I use them to clean up LPs following the method I've seen on several different YouTube videos. They work great for this purpose.

Pros
  • Great for me

Works great if you do some homework beforehand

I would suggest watching a YouTube video on how to use it. Trust me and save yourself a huge operator error. This was very helpful, especially on the ceiling where it was difficult for me to reach out and try not to fall down the stairs. I will surely use it again in the future.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • A little torn

stamp cleaner!

I bought them for the wrong purpose: cleaning stamps! I taped this to the inside of the lid of a container I no longer had. I remember buying something very similar and more expensive from Stamping Up. It's the same stuff! A few squirts of water mixed with a few drops of baby soap and glycerine and it cleans rubber stamps quite well! Oh, and they also frame the walls when you paint πŸ˜‚

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some defects

Also fits the Lowe's Whiz brand applicator.

Arrived FAST for my project. You can get it at a hardware store for about half the price but considering it was shipped to me 2 days later I can't complain for the few bucks more. I used this to stain my new cedar fence with Armstrong Clark deck stain. Worked great on both the rough and smoother side of the fence. I used three spacers to finish both sides of the 100 foot fence and the 6 foot height. I've also been using them for painting for many years, they're a trusted old friend.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Useless functions

Used for a different purpose

Bought these for a painting project in my bathroom to paint behind the toilets without having to remove them. The gap was too small even for the smallest roller. I taped a crayon to the back of one of them, dipped it into the paint tray and it worked like magic. I was skeptical at first and was surprised they had so much color in them. Well cleaned and reusable. Makes me think about getting the tool these refills are for in my next painting project.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

I never paint without her!

I like these things. I haven't painted without her for many years. The trick is definitely to lift the wheels/guard up when pouring the paint and just pour the paint with a brush. When I load the paint I stop about 1/4 inch from the edge so as not to get too much paint on the edge and cause bleeding. I also keep a paper towel handy and stop often to wipe down the fairing and wheels to make sure the paint doesn't ruin the finish. This is much quicker than edging with a brush or tape. I can paint

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Minor problems
