The rubber around the toe of the shoe dried out and started to crack after about 2 months. Now, after 6 months, the boot is completely fine. There is only a thin felt material behind this rubber, so that the cold air and water flowing through make this shoe unusable. Too bad because every other part of the shoe is perfect.
