I live on the third floor of an apartment building that was built in the early 1970s. Needless to say, the sound in this building is very uncompromising. I personally prefer as much silence as possible. I bought a portable washing machine for my apartment because we don't have more than two washing machines per floor. But when I used it, the washing machine made a lot of noise and vibration, which I think was true of my folks downstairs. As always, Revain went above and beyond to help me find this product. I put 4 sound tiles (I think there were 12 in the pack) under the washing machine and the noise went away. Now I can wash my clothes any time of the day. Day and night, and I don't need to feel disrespectful to the people down there. I put extra tiles under the carpet on my desk. No more unnecessary driving in this area! I'm crazy about "making soundproofing" and will be buying more now because I'm obsessed. I didn't tie them to anything. I just posted them under what I need.
