I had several reasons for purchasing these magnets. First my son is starting to get interested in science and I wanted to show him the power of magnetism and demonstrate the difference in strength of magnets. Also, some of the projects I work on have required me to have strong magnets for personal use. Basically, it's somewhat durable enough to keep commonly used spices in a jar in my fridge so I can clean up the clutter in my spice cabinet. These magnets served my purpose and at an unbeatable price! They are well packed in styrofoam and there is a message from the seller if you need further assistance. 3M adhesive is strong and sticks very well to lids or flat surfaces. You must be very careful with these magnets because of their strength. They will collapse and be attracted to each other from a great distance. Again, be careful and pay close attention when handling them and they will work great! I had no problem separating them and dealing with them. These are extremely strong magnets and I'm glad I found them.
